This National Arboretum introduction features stiffly ascending branches, resulting in a narrower vase shaped crown than most elm cultivars. Foliage is especially dark green. A complex hybrid derived from Ulmus wilsoniana, U. pumila, U. carpinifolia, and U. glabra.
